How I handle your information.
When you fill out one of the forms on this site — the inline three-field one or the longer one on /contact — you’re sending a few details directly to my email inbox. This page tells you exactly what happens to that information.
This is my own policy for my own business. There’s no marketing department, no data team, no advertising network running in the background. It’s me, my truck, and my mower.
What I collect
Through the forms on this site, I ask for:
- Your name— so I know who I’m calling back.
- Your property address— so I know which lawn I’m looking at.
- Your phone number— usually the fastest way to set up the visit.
- Your email— optional on the inline form, optional on the longer one. If you give it, I might use it instead of calling.
- Anything you write in the notes field— gate codes, dog warnings, problem areas, whatever you want me to know before I show up.
That’s the whole list. The forms don’t ask for anything else, and the site doesn’t run any analytics or ad-tracking pixels at the time this policy goes live.
Why I collect it
To follow up on your estimate request. That’s the only reason. I don’t sell leads, I don’t share your information with anyone else’s mailing list, and I don’t have a separate marketing system that’s going to put you in some sequence.
Where it goes
When you submit a form, here’s the actual path:
- Cloudflare Turnstileruns a quick spam check on the request. It runs in the background and may briefly process your IP address and a verification token to confirm you’re a real person, not a bot.
- Resenddelivers the form contents to my inbox as an email. Your name, address, phone, email, and any notes pass through Resend’s mail-sending infrastructure to land at leads@dblawnlandscape.com.
- My inboxis where it sits — a regular Google account.
- Vercel hosts this website. Form submissions briefly run through a Vercel server route on the way to Resend.
Who else sees it
The third-party services listed above are the only services that touch your form submission:
- Cloudflare — spam protection. cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
- Resend — email delivery. resend.com/legal/privacy-policy
- Vercel — website hosting. vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
I don’t share your information with anyone outside that pipeline. Not Google Ads, not Facebook, not a CRM, not another contractor.
How long I keep it
Form submissions stay in my email indefinitely. That’s how I keep track of who I’ve worked with and which properties I’ve visited over the years. There’s no automatic deletion.
If you want it removed
Email me at leads@dblawnlandscape.com or call (920) 912-0383 and ask. I’ll remove your information from my inbox within a couple of days, usually the same afternoon if I’m not out on a job. The same contacts work if you want to know what I have on file for you.
Cookies and tracking
This site doesn’t set any analytics or advertising cookies as of this policy’s effective date. The only browser storage involved is what Cloudflare Turnstile uses to run its spam check, which is documented in Cloudflare’s own privacy policy linked above.
If this policy changes
If I add anything material — a new third-party tool, an analytics setup, an email newsletter — I’ll update this page first and bump the “last updated” date below. I won’t apply changes retroactively to information I already have.
Effective: May 11, 2026
